Softball Recap: Chase County Takes a Loss

Chase County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They came up short against Highway 91, falling 14-1.

Chase County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yesi Ruiz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Chase County's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Highway 91, they moved to 3-22 with that victory, which also ended their 12-game losing streak.

Chase County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highway 91, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-2 defeat against St. Cecilia on the 7th.
