Soccer Game Preview: East Forsyth vs. Forsyth Central

The East Forsyth Broncos will take on the Forsyth Central Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as East Forsyth comes in on four and Forsyth Central on five.

If Forsyth Central heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when East Forsyth took over last week. The Broncos came out on top in a nail-biter against West Hall on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3.

Meanwhile, Creekview kept up with Forsyth Central until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grizzlies. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Forsyth Central's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Creekview are ranked 314th).

East Forsyth pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matches. As for Forsyth Central, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
