Flint River Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Skipstone Academy Warriors as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Hunter Pike was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ethan Newman, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Flint River Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skipstone Academy only posted an OBP of .364.

Flint River Academy's record now sits at 13-2. As for Skipstone Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Coming up, Flint River Academy will square off against Heritage Preparatory at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Skipstone Academy, they will host Lafayette Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
