Baseball Recap: Stephens County Takes a Loss

Stephens County has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.76 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Stephens County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7. As for Prince Avenue Christian, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

While Stephens County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
