Pueblo Centennial had won four straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-3 to make it five. They came out on top against the Lewis-Palmer Rangers by a score of 15-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the game before.
Olivia Aragon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Aragon was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

On Lewis-Palmer's side, Sydney Blazer was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Jaelynn Bello was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pueblo Centennial will challenge Fountain-Fort Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will square off against Cheyenne Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
