Baseball Recap: Walnut Grove Takes a Loss

Walnut Grove fell victim to North Oconee and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Titans. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Walnut Grove's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for North Oconee, they pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Walnut Grove will take on Madison County at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Walnut Grove is facing Madison County at the right time seeing as Madison County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for North Oconee, they will face off against East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Forsyth will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something North Oconee surely won't give up without a fight.
