On Wednesday, New West Charter made easy work of Larchmont Charter and carried off an 8-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Math & Science College Preparatory had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Horace Mann UCLA Community 3-2.

New West Charter's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those five games. As for Math & Science College Preparatory, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.

Everything went New West Charter's way against Math & Science College Preparatory when the teams last played two weeks ago, as New West Charter made off with a 16-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for New West Charter since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
