Baseball Game Preview: LaFayette Ramblers vs. Ridgeland Panthers

For the second straight game, LaFayette will face off against Ridgeland. LaFayette will welcome Ridgeland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (LaFayette has three straight victories, Ridgeland has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, LaFayette needed a bit of extra time to put away Ridgeland. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Panthers.

For Ridgeland's part, they got a big performance out of Joey Hayes, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Bryson Duke, who scored a run while going 3-for-5.

Ridgeland now has a losing record of 8-9. As for LaFayette, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
