Football Game Preview: Pratt Greenbacks vs. Chaparral Roadrunners

The Pratt Greenbacks will host the Chaparral Roadrunners on Friday. Pratt is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

Pratt will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Cheney, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Greenbacks enjoyed a cozy 24-7 win over the Cardinals on Friday. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Greenbacks were the (much) better team in the second half.

Pratt's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Caleb Strong and Levi Thibault, who each picked up one interception apiece.

Meanwhile, Chaparral's game on Thursday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 28-14 bruising from Collegiate.

Chaparral's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. As for Pratt, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything came up roses for Pratt against Chaparral in their previous meeting back in September, as the team secured a 35-0 win. Will the Greenbacks repeat their success, or do the Roadrunners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
