Basketball Recap: Ripon's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Ripon lost against Escalon back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ripon Indians fell to the Escalon Cougars 35-29. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ripon's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-9. As for Escalon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ripon will face off against Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Escalon, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Escalon Cougars challenge the Sonora Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th.
