Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Pirates vs. Lyons Lions

With a playoff win on the line, St. Mary rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 62-55 win over the Lyons Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

St. Mary's found their leader in freshman Kisean Dawson, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Dawson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bret Stewart, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine assists.

St. Mary's was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They are 15-6 when they've passed the ball that well.
