Perez came up big in Taylor's 13-3 victory
On Saturday Chris Perez was dialed in and didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He played a big game the last time he faced La Grange, so the team probably should've seen him coming. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his sixth in a row with more than five innings. This season, Perez has an ERA of .38 over 37.3 innings pitched.
Perez and Taylor will be playing at home against Giddings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor is 3-0 against Giddings going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
