Soccer Game Preview: Freedom vs. College Park

Freedom and College Park are an even 2-2-4 against one another since December of 2014, but likely not for long. The Freedom Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the College Park Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Freedom took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Pittsburg onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, College Park has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 19. They and Clayton Valley Charter finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

College Park's goal came courtesy of Sophia Voorhies, who's now up to eight this season.

Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. College Park's draw makes their record 2-6-8 this season.
