Ralston entered their tilt with Seward on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They beat the Bluejays by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Makenzie Macrander spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Maddie Ochsner, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Ralston hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seward struck out 13 times.

Ralston's record now sits at 17-3. As for Seward, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Ralston didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Beatrice on the 23rd. As for Seward, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Lakeview on the 22nd.
