Soccer Game Preview: Liberty County vs. Islands

The Liberty County Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Islands Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty County has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Islands will come in with four straight wins.

Liberty County came up short against Johnson on Tuesday, falling 6-3.

Meanwhile, Islands' game on Thursday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They never let Groves get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Liberty County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Islands, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Liberty County suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Islands in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Liberty County was down 6-1.
