Softball Recap: Carrollton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Carrollton won the last time they faced Westlake and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Lions. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Carrollton, bringing their record up to 15-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Westlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton will face off against Cedartown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westlake, they will square off against Locust Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
