Football Recap: Ferris Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Ferris unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Morristown-Beard Crimson. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Ferris and Morristown-Beard will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs are set to square off against their familiar foe Belleville at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Morristown-Beard will take on rival Poly Prep Country Day on September 6.
