Baseball Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

The Wilmington Wildcats lost 14-4 to the Newburyport Clippers on Saturday.

Wilmington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roman Synnott, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Newburyport, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Coming up, Wilmington will challenge Bedford on Sunday. Newburyport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
