Soccer Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Carver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lovett Lions, falling 11-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 goals.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lovett, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver will square off against Hapeville Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carver has given up an average of 8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Lovett, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lovett challenge Therrell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. They know how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Therrell like a good challenge.
