Hiram's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mt. Zion Eagles a 7-0 shutout. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Hiram's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Mt. Zion, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Hiram will head out on the road to face off against Cedartown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedartown knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hiram likes a good challenge. As for Mt. Zion, they will be playing at home against Temple at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
