Football Game Preview: Mesquite Skeeters vs. Lancaster Tigers

The Mesquite Skeeters will challenge the Lancaster Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mesquite's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mesquite made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Skyline, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Skeeters fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 13-10 on Friday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Lancaster was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 35-10 to Duncanville. The Tigers have struggled against the Panthers and Pantherettes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Lancaster saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rj On Top picked up 115 receiving yards and one TD.

Lancaster now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Mesquite, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
