Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX) followers were content Thursday as they observed their football squad smash the host Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX), 64-20 in a league match.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians come into the 6A Region II District 11 match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Waxahachie routed Skyline (Dallas, TX), 49-0, in a league battle.

The Skeeters now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Duncanville for a 6A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, October 31. Mesquite will play a Panthers and Pantherettes team coming off a 23-18 league win over Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 5-1.
