Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team top the host Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), 38-21 in a league test.

The Indians now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mesquite for a 6A Region II District 11 test on Thursday, November 6. Waxahachie will meet a Skeeters squad coming off a 34-7 league loss to Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Skeeters record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Lancaster drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to DeSoto (DeSoto, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 6A Region II District 11 test on Thursday, November 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-3. DeSoto won 56-0 in their recent league test against Skyline (Dallas, TX)
