Taft's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against El Camino Real on Thursday. They took a blow against the Royals, falling 28-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Toreadors were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 41-14, which was the final score in Eagle Rock's tilt against Garfield on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
