Basketball Recap: Newport Harbor Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Newport Harbor had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Edison Chargers by a score of 48-40 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-25 on January 7th.

Newport Harbor's victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-18. As for Edison, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Corona del Mar the next time they take the court. Edison will head out to face Corona del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Newport Harbor will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
