Tussey Mountain won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets, falling 70-47. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adyson Weyandt, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 17 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hillary Horton, who posted 11 points.

Tussey Mountain's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Southern Huntingdon County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tussey Mountain will face off against Northern Bedford County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southern Huntingdon County, they will welcome Mount Union at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
