Soccer Game Preview: Inglewood vs. Lawndale

Inglewood hasn't had much luck against Lawndale recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Inglewood Sentinels will venture away from home to square off against the Lawndale Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Inglewood is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Monday. They lost 11-0 to Centennial.

Meanwhile, Lawndale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Santa Monica, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 827th, while the Vikings are ranked 332nd).

Lawndale's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2. As for Inglewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
