McConnellsburg waltzed into their contest on Sunday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Southern Fulton Indians with a sharp 58-33 win. That 25 point margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

Despite the defeat, Southern Fulton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Claire Harvey posted 14 points along with seven boards and five steals. Brynley Schriever was another key player, putting up seven points.

McConnellsburg pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Southern Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

McConnellsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 43-22 win against Fannett Metal on the 30th. As for Southern Fulton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-32 victory against Forbes Road on the 30th.
