Baseball Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County lost against Colquitt County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Camden County Wildcats took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colquitt County Packers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camden County got a massive performance out of Will Johnson, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave Johnson a new career-high. Caden Napier was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Colquitt County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Colquitt County beat Camden County by a score of 10-5 later that day.
