Basketball Recap: Righetti Comes Up Short

Righetti suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Arroyo Grande Eagles 61-20. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Eagles are ranked 56th).

Righetti's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Arroyo Grande, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Righetti won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sierra Pacific at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arroyo Grande, they will take on Morro Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Arroyo Grande's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
