Soccer Game Preview: Galileo vs. Marshall

The Galileo Lions will challenge the Marshall Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Galileo's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Burton as Galileo made off with a 6-0 victory. Considering the Lions have won four games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Burton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabela Blandino (2), Caitlyn Junus (2), Alice Ayala, and Alisson Guardado.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Marshall was forced to settle for a draw. Both finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw back in January.

With that draw, Marshall's record moves to 1-2-1. As for Galileo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.
