Grace Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Crisp Academy Wildcats get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Keith Eidson made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other pitching news, Daniel Johnson looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Noah Smith, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Grace Christian Academy is 6-1 when Smith posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Temples, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Grace Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Crisp Academy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Grace Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Crisp Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on April 8.
