Kinsley hasn't had much luck against South Gray recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Coyotes will welcome the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Kinsley's victory against Sublette wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Coyotes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 28-26 win over the Larks on Friday. The 28-point effort marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Kinsley found their leader in sophomore Josh Stuckey, who threw for 211 yards and one TD on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 40 yards and one touchdown. Stuckey also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Kinsley didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Sublette to a completion percentage of just 36.8%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Stuckey and Joey Prieto, who each logged one passes deflected. Kinsley wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 57.9%.

Kinsley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brady Kraft, Ross Burkhart, and Stuckey picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Gray). They blew past Elkhart, posting a 52-20 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

South Gray's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Kinsley, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Kinsley might still be hurting after the 36-14 defeat they got from South Gray in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Coyotes have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other football content.
