Mt. Zion lost to Pepperell back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Dragons. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Mt. Zion now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Pepperell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Mt. Zion has already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Manchester on the 18th. As for Pepperell, they will square off against Model at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Dragons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
