Volleyball Recap: Eagle River Gets the Win

Chugiak typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Eagle River proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Wolves: when they faced off against the Mustangs on Saturday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Eagle River never let Chugiak on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21.

The win got Eagle River back to even at 1-1. As for Chugiak, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-2.

Eagle River will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
