Having just played yesterday, the San Juan Hills Stallions will get right back to it and host the Tesoro Titans at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. The timing is sure in San Juan Hills' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Tesoro has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.

On Monday, San Juan Hills strolled past San Clemente with points to spare, taking the game 66-48.

San Juan Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sydney Peterson led the charge by scoring 28 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Peterson has scored at least a third of San Juan Hills' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Shreeve, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Tesoro suffered their biggest loss since December 26, 2023 on Thursday. They took a serious blow against San Clemente, falling 73-22. While losing is never fun, Tesoro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 876th, while San Clemente is ranked 71st).
