Rio Linda extended their winning streak to 13 games thanks to a huge performance from LaRay Mitchell. The Rio Linda Knights blew past the Mira Loma Matadors 63-14 on Monday thanks in part to Mitchell, who went 10 of 11 to rack up 22 points and six steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (91%).

Savannah Grant was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 17 boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played.

Rio Linda's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Mira Loma, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Looking ahead, Rio Linda won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
