Softball Recap: Chariton Snags 11th Win in Last 14 Games

Chariton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Saydel Eagles. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Chariton has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Saydel, they dropped their record down to 2-25 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Chariton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against West Marshall on the 12th. Saydel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
