After two games on the road, Pocono Mountain West is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Liberty Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Pocono Mountain West took a serious blow against Bethlehem Catholic, falling 80-46. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pocono Mountain West in their matchups with Bethlehem Catholic: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Liberty waltzed into their contest Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They secured a 56-50 W over Emmaus. 56 seems to be a good number for Liberty as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Liberty got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Kopetskie out in front who scored 23 points along with nine rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. Ruby Miller was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Pocono Mountain West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
