Baseball Recap: Dacula Comes Up Short

Dacula's tournament run continued when they took on The First Academy on Friday. The Falcons took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Dacula saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrison Cantrell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Dacula's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for The First Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Dacula will be taking part in a tournament against Spain Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for The First Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Smyrna Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
