Jalin Hyatt has had some big games in his high school career. But none bigger than Saturday.
The Tennessee-bound receiver caught three touchdowns, including a game-ending 10-yarder in overtime from
Tyler Olenchuk, leading Dutch Fork to a 34-31 win Saturday over previously unbeaten Dorman in the South Carolina AAAAA title game at Williams-Brice Stadium, home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
It was the 40th straight win overall for the Silver Foxes (13-0-1), who went into the game ranked 11th nationally by MaxPreps.
Omar Khan kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime for Dorman (14-1), which had come back from a 14-0 deficit, but that opened the door for Hyatt, who gathered a perfect fade from Olechuk, who three for 236 yards and four TDs. Hyatt finished with seven catches and 165 yards and teammate
Jonathan Hall rushed for 189 yards and a score, his 37th touchdown of the season.

Noah Bell fired five touchdown passes as Saluda jumped to a 20-0 lead en route to a 39-14 win over previously unbeaten Barnwell in the South Carolina AA championship Friday night.
Other South Carolina champions crowned over the weekend were Wren (4A), a 35-23 winner over Myrtle Beach, Chapman (3A), a 44-14 winner over Dillon, and Green Sea Flods (1A), a 48-12 winner over Ridge Spring-Manetta.
SCHSL champions in 2018 include Dutch Fork (5A), Myrtle Beach (4A), Chester (3A), Abbeville (2A) and Green Sea-Floyd (1A).
