Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addie Brittain and Carissa Towery Lead East Burke to Victory

East Burke not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against East Rutherford as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for East Burke: when they faced off against East Rutherford back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

The victory didn't come easy: East Rutherford scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-21.

East Burke was led to victory by Carissa Towery and Addie Brittain. Towery had five digs and one block, while Brittain had six digs. That's the most digs Brittain has posted since back in September.

The win made it two in a row for East Burke and bumps their season record up to 8-14. As for East Rutherford, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13.
