Basketball Recap: Chavez Takes a Loss

Chavez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Grant Lancers, falling 38-16. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Grant, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing North Hollywood the next time they take the court. Grant will host North Hollywood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Chavez will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
