Soccer Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

If Lakewood was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Compton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lakewood Lancers lost 5-0 to the Millikan Rams on Tuesday. The Lancers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in January.

Lakewood now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Millikan, they now have a winning record of 3-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood will take on North in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millikan and Compton will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
