Fatima has gone a perfect 8-0 against New Bloomfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Comets will challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Fatima has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fatima is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since October 10, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Blair Oaks 12-11. The Comets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, New Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Eugene, falling 19-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

New Bloomfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Heather Patten, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Delaney Smart was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Fatima's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7. As for New Bloomfield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1.

Fatima came out on top in a nail-biter against New Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
