It was a good run, but Johns Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Milton Eagles who were credited with the victory. The Milton Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Johns Creek Gladiators' two. Johns Creek were not able to make up for their loss to Milton from their previous meeting back in February of 2020.

Samakh Leao and Aiden Giacomelli scored both of Johns Creek's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Johns Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Milton, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johns Creek will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 8:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Milton, they will host Gainesville at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
