Basketball Recap: Glendale Triumphs

West Branch came into Wednesday's match looking for another win against Glendale, but Madison Peterson wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Glendale Vikings' way against the West Branch Warriors on Wednesday as the Glendale Vikings made off with a 39-16 win thanks in part to Peterson, who posted 16 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Glendale's points.

Glendale's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for West Branch, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glendale will welcome Juniata Valley at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th. As for West Branch, they will host Blacklick Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
