Softball Recap: Murray Takes a Loss

If Murray was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Moulton-Udell on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell 6-1 to the Southeast Warren Warhawks on Wednesday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Warhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Murray's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Southeast Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Murray has already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Moravia on the 3rd. Southeast Warren has also already played their next match (against Interstate 35), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
