Basketball Game Recap: Trinity Christian Falcons vs. South Allegheny Gladiators

The Trinity Christian Falcons had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Allegheny on Friday. Trinity Christian lost against South Allegheny in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 58-22 score last time.

South Allegheny got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabi Jackson out in front who scored 20 points. Emily Beaumont was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for South Allegheny, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Trinity Christian will head out on the road to face off against Neighborhood Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Allegheny, they will square off against Cheswick Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
