Soccer Recap: Corona del Mar Victorious

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Corona del Mar ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fountain Valley Barons, sneaking past 4-3. Considering the Sea Kings' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Corona del Mar's record now sits at 14-6. As for Fountain Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Corona del Mar nor Fountain Valley have any future games scheduled.
